If you’re a floral obsessive, like me, this one’s for you.
This is a quick and simple way to make your phone that bit more pretty and personal to you. With just a few minutes and some PVA glue you can make your very own floral phone case.
This is so, so easy. I originally I shared this tutorial via Instagram stories a couple of days ago. If you missed it, here’s the full step by step tutorial.
To make a fabric phone case you’ll need:
- Clear plastic phone case (try ebay or Amazon – the one I got was just £2)
- PVA glue
- Your favourite vintage fabric, vintage wallpaper scrap, wrapping paper off cut – what ever you fancy. If you’ve nothing in mind try here for vintage fabric remnants.
1) Trace out
Put the phone case onto the back of the fabric and draw round it. Mark out where you’ll need to cut out a gap for the camera by also drawing around the inside of the camera hole in the case. Cut around the lines you’ve drawn on your fabric. For the camera, instead of cutting a hole out I cut from the top of the case around the camera hole and back up to the top of the case which was a lot easier when it came to glueing.
Paint a thin layer of glue onto the inside of your phone case, once the inside is covered slip the fabric into the case face down, so that the design on the fabric is facing out of the clear phone case.
Move the fabric around until you’re satisfied it’s in the right position. Leave it to dry and you’ve got yourself a bespoke phone case.
Enjoy and please do share your pictures of your final master piece!
