I hope you’ve been enjoying the lovely bright sunshine of late? I’ve jumped on the peony bandwagon and picked up a bunch of beautifully fragrant peonies, they had to be involved with this month’s blast from the past post.
This week I’m sharing my vintage Roberts radio. It’s an old Roberts radio which I had re-covered in some floral oil cloth. I bought an old and very worn radio and found a shop on Etsy where they will recover your old radio with oil cloth and make it as good as new!
This radio really comes into it’s own on a Sunday when i’m busying myself in my sewing room, I listen to the Archers omnibus (yes, The Archers – no shame!) and sip on earl grey tea between pinning and sewing.
As William Morris said, “have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful” and I couldn’t agree more. What’s your favourite vintage trinket? Let me know in the comments below, and if you’re looking for more floral pretties, have a ganders at my Pinterest boards. Happy scrolling!
